The Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over lies over Jammu region & adjoining north Pakistan, A cyclonic circulation lies over central Assam & neighbourhood in lower tropospheric levels. Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm & lightning likely over Arunachal Pradesh and northeast Assam today. In Arunachal Pradesh, provide extensive drainage in the fields of mustard, pea, vegetables, potato and horticultural crops. Another fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from tomorrow. Under its influence, Light rainfall and snowfall activity likely over Western Himalayan Region during during next 3-4 days. Minimum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2–3°C over Northwest India and Maharashtra during the next four days, and over Gujarat during the next 48 hours, with no significant change thereafter. In Central India, a gradual fall of 2–3°C in minimum temperatures is expected over the next two days, followed by stable conditions for the subsequent two days. In East India, minimum temperatures are likely to drop by 3–5°C in the next 24 hours, remaining steady for the following three days. Meanwhile, maximum temperatures are expected to be 3–5°C above normal over North Peninsular and East India during the next 3–4 days. Dense fog conditions very likely to continue to prevail during early morning hours in isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh and Odisha till tomorrow.
