The arrival of wheat has increased in the markets of Madhya Pradesh, but government and non-government procurement is going on continuously, due to which the prices are gradually increasing there. Government agencies are also purchasing wheat in the markets of Rajasthan. Here in Haryana and Punjab, government agencies are purchasing more and private sector is purchasing less because the stockists here are not purchasing much. Under these circumstances, wheat procurement has so far reached around 196 lakh metric tonnes. Here also the price of wheat has reached Rs 2495/2500 per quintal at the warehouse. Now the goods should be sold at these prices.
