Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra to Experience Isolated Rain.
The well-marked low-pressure area over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, near the South Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu coasts, moved westwards and weakened into a low-pressure area over the same region. Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and heavy spells, is expected over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry. A fresh Western disturbance seen as a trough in lower & middle tropospheric westerlies. It is very likely to interact with lower levels easterly winds over central parts of the country leading to high moisture feeding from Arabian Sea as well as Bay of Bengal mainly during next 1-2 days. It will bring rain or snow with thunderstorms across Northwest and Central India for next 2-3 days. Cold Day conditions very likely in isolated pockets of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi for next 2 days. A fall in minimum temperatures by about 2°C is likely over Northwest India over the next two days, followed by a gradual rise of 2-3°C. No significant change in minimum temperatures is expected over Central India for the next four days, with a subsequent drop of 2-4°C. Minimum temperatures are expected to remain steady over West India (except Gujarat) and East India for the next five days. Over Gujarat State, minimum temperatures are likely to rise by 2-4°C over the next three days, followed by a gradual fall of 2-3°C. Dense fog conditions are very likely to prevail during late night and early morning hours in isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, and Meghalaya over the next three days, and in Rajasthan starting after two days.
