A Western disturbance as a trough in lower & middle tropospheric westerlies runs roughly along. Another Western Disturbance likely to affect northwest India from night of Saturday. It is very likely to cause light isolated to scattered rainfall and snowfall over Western Himalayan region from tomorrow. A cyclonic circulation lies over Equatorial Indian Ocean & adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal in lower tropospheric levels. Another cyclonic circulation over Northeast Bihar & neighbourhood. Over the next 24 hours, no significant change in minimum temperatures is expected in the Western Himalayan region and the plains of Northwest India. A gradual rise of 3-5°C is likely in the Western Himalayan region and 2-3°C in the plains of Northwest India thereafter. Central and East India may experience a drop in minimum temperatures by 2-3°C over the next two days, with no significant change expected afterward. In West India, excluding Gujarat, minimum temperatures are likely to fall by 2-4°C over the next four days, while no significant change is anticipated in Gujarat during this period. Dense to very dense fog in isolated pockets of Rajasthan; Shallow to Moderate fog in isolated pockets of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Tripura and Assam. Cold wave conditions very likely in isolated pockets of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Ground Frost conditions very likely in Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh during next 2-3 days.
