Wheat Market Report

Currently, after the decline in wheat prices in the past few days, the market has seen an increase of ₹50 per quintal this week. The primary reasons for this are increased buying at lower prices and the government's reduction in the wheat quantity offered in the tenders. As a result, the price of mill-quality wheat has reached ₹3170/3175 per quintal. Additionally, the prices of flour, maida, and semolina have also seen a slight increase by the mills. The reality is that there is a shortage of supply in the producing mandis, and the government is still selling wheat in the open market. The seventh tender recently took place, and the quantity of wheat offered was limited. Since the quantity of wheat is low, there is a possibility that prices will continue to rise in the market. As long as the government does not release sufficient quantities of wheat in the open market, a sustained downturn in prices is unlikely. Therefore, it is advisable to purchase wheat at the current prices, but this situation is likely to continue until there are changes in the government's supply policy.
