Hailstorms to Impact Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and Assam.

A Western Disturbance is currently observed as a cyclonic circulation over North Pakistan, accompanied by an induced cyclonic circulation over northeast Rajasthan and its surrounding areas in the lower tropospheric levels, with active moisture incursion from the Arabian Sea. The cyclonic circulation over Northeast Assam & neighbourhood Light to moderate rainfall at many places accompanied with thunderstorm activity at isolated places likely over Northeastern states for next 1-2 days. Isolated hailstorm also likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Assam by today. A fresh Western Disturbance and its interaction with easterly winds, likely to affect Northwest India from friday. Under its influence, Light to moderate rainfall and snowfall likely over Western Himalayan region and light rainfall over the plains of Northwest India during the same period. Minimum temperatures are expected to fall by 3-5°C over the Western Himalayan Region during the next 3 days, followed by a gradual rise of 2-4°C. In the plains of Northwest India, a decrease of 2-4°C is likely over the next 3 days, with a similar gradual rise thereafter. Central India is expected to experience no significant change in minimum temperatures over the next 24 hours, followed by a gradual fall of 2-4°C. Maharashtra is likely to see a drop in minimum temperatures by 3-5°C during the next 2-3 days, with no major changes afterward. Gujarat may experience a decline of 2-3°C in minimum temperatures during the next 2-3 days, followed by stable conditions. In Northeast India, minimum temperatures are likely to rise by 3-4°C over the next 1-2 days, followed by a gradual fall of 2-3°C in the subsequent 2 days. No significant changes in minimum temperatures are expected over Northwest, Central, and West India during the next 3-4 days. Very dense fog conditions are expected to persist during the night and early morning hours in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Odisha over the next 1-2 days. Dense fog conditions are also likely to develop during the night and early morning hours in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura after 2-3 days.
