Today, dense fog lingered over parts of eastern Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, while it dissipated in Punjab, western Haryana, and Rajasthan, leaving the sky clear. This has led to an increased likelihood of frost formation in the plains over the next two days. With the passing of the Western Disturbance, dry northwesterly winds have become active over the plains. These winds have pushed the foggy moisture-rich air toward central and eastern India. In western Punjab, western and southern Haryana, Rajasthan, and western Madhya Pradesh, the weather is likely to remain mostly clear and fog-free for the next 1-2 days.
