Isolated Snowfall Predicted Across Northern Himalayas.

A Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation lies over northwest Uttar Pradesh & neighbourhood in middle tropospheric levels. Under its influence, Scattered to Fairley widespread rainfall and snowfall activity likely over Himachal Pradesh. A fresh Western Disturbance is expected to impact Northwest India starting tomorrow. This system is likely to bring isolated to scattered rainfall and snowfall over the Western Himalayan region for the next 3-4 days, along with isolated rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Rajasthan during the upcoming week. An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over southeast Arabian Sea off south Kerala coast in lower tropospheric levels. Under its influence, Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm & lightning very likely at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala in next 2-3 days. A gradual decrease in minimum temperatures by 2-3°C is expected over Northwest India during the next two days, followed by a gradual rise of 2-4°C thereafter.In the Gujarat region, minimum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2-3°C over the next three days, with no significant changes expected thereafter. Meanwhile, no significant change in minimum temperatures is anticipated over Central and East India, as well as the Maharashtra region, during the next five days. Very Dense fog Condition very likely to continue to prevail during night and early morning hours in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan during next 2 days.
