Thunderstorms to Lash Coastal Tamil Nadu.

A Western Disturbance exists as a trough in the middle tropospheric levels, accompanied by an induced cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan at the lower tropospheric level. Additionally, another Western Disturbance is present as a trough in the middle and upper tropospheric levels. Under the influence of these systems: Isolated to scattered rainfall and snowfall are very likely over the Western Himalayan Region until tomorrow, while rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, North Rajasthan, and West Uttar Pradesh after two days. A cyclonic circulation lies over the Gulf of Mannar and adjoining Sri Lanka. As a result of strong northeasterly winds along the Tamil Nadu coast, light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning at isolated places, is very likely over coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. A gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-3°C is likely over the plains of Northwest India during the next two days, with no significant change expected thereafter. Central India will see no significant change in minimum temperatures over the next 24 hours, followed by a gradual rise of 2-3°C. Similarly, Maharashtra and Goa will experience no significant change in minimum temperatures for the next 24 hours, with a rise of 2-3°C thereafter. Meanwhile, no significant change in minimum temperatures is expected over West India, East India, and the Gujarat region for the next 4-5 days. Dense fog conditions are very likely to persist during the night and early morning hours in isolated pockets of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttarakhand, West Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh for next 1-2 days. Cold day conditions are very likely in isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh.
