A Western Disturbance, in the form of a cyclonic circulation, lies over North Pakistan and its surrounding areas at lower tropospheric levels. Additionally, an induced cyclonic circulation is present over West Rajasthan at lower tropospheric levels, while another Western Disturbance appears as a trough in the middle and upper tropospheric levels. Under the influence of these systems: Rain and snowfall will increase over the Western Himalayas today, while Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, East Rajasthan, and West Uttar Pradesh over the next two days. A cyclonic circulation lies over Gulf of Mannar & adjoining Sri Lanka at middle tropospheric levels and strong northeasterly winds over Tamil Nadu coast. This may bring light to moderate rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala during next 2 days. No significant change in minimum temperatures is expected over Central India during the next 24 hours, followed by a gradual rise of 2-4°C over the subsequent four days. Similarly, East India and East Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience no significant change in minimum temperatures over the next two days, with a gradual rise of 2-3°C in the following three days. Maharashtra is expected to see a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-3°C over the next three days, with no significant change thereafter for two days. In the Gujarat region, no significant change in minimum temperatures is anticipated over the next two days, followed by a drop of 2-3°C in the subsequent three days. For the rest of the country, no significant change in minimum temperatures is likely. Dense fog conditions are very likely to persist during the night and early morning hours in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, and Bihar over the next two days. Meanwhile, dense fog is expected to develop in West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan after two days and continue for the following two days.
