Light to moderate rainfall and snowfall, along with isolated thunderstorms and lightning, is likely over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand for the next two days, with a possibility of hailstorms in Punjab. The weather will start clearing again in the plains. But Western Disturbance will show effect in limited areas of North India for next two days. Due to this, light rain is also likely in Punjab and Haryana. There is a possibility of drizzle or light rain in North Rajasthan, Southern Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh amid cloudy weather. Rest of the areas of North India will not receive rain due to this system. Another major seasonal change will take place in North India. The minimum temperature in the plains will fall considerably. Northwest and Central India are expected to see a gradual drop of 2-4°C in maximum temperatures over the next 3-4 days, followed by stable conditions. In Maharashtra, temperatures will remain steady for the next 24 days, with a gradual decline of 2-4°C likely afterward. Andhra Pradesh is expected to see a slight increase of 2-3°C in maximum temperatures over the next 48 hours, followed by stable conditions. In the rest of India, maximum temperatures will remain steady over the next 4-5 days. Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail over Coastal Karnataka and Goa for next two days.
