Light to moderate rainfall and snowfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, are expected over Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand from tomorrow for the next two days. Meanwhile, light rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is likely over Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan after two days, continuing for the following two days. A cyclonic circulation lies over central Assam in lower tropospheric levels. Under its influence, Light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph), is likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura for the next three days. Under the influence of easterly wave activity, Light rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and South Interior Karnataka for the next three days. Meanwhile, South Tamil Nadu may experience moderate to heavy spells during this period. Maximum temperatures in the plains of Northwest India are expected to increase by 2-3°C over the next two days, followed by a decrease of 2-4°C. In Central India, maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2-3°C over the next two days, with no major changes afterward. Over Gujarat, temperatures will remain stable for the next two days before dropping by 2-3°C over the following three days.
