An upper air cyclonic circulation persists over Madhya Pradesh, with a wind confluence developing over eastern and adjoining central India due to the interaction between this system and an anticyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal. As a result: Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (50-60 kmph) until tomorrow. West Madhya Pradesh is likely to see similar conditions today, while East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will continue to experience thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) until tomorrow. Additionally, a cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam and its surrounding areas will lead to: Light to moderate rainfall and snowfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, over Arunachal Pradesh for the next 2-3 days. Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-50 kmph), across Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura over the next five days. A trough/wind discontinuity extends from the cyclonic circulation over Chhattisgarh to North Interior Karnataka in the lower tropospheric levels.Under its influence: Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-50 kmph) starting tomorrow and continuing for two days. Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, and Telangana can expect similar weather conditions over the next five days. A Western Disturbance, observed as a trough in the lower and middle tropospheric levels, extends across the region, while an upper air cyclonic circulation is positioned over southwest Rajasthan. Uttar Pradesh is likely to experience isolated light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) till tomorrow. No heat wave is expected over any part of the country during the next 4-5 days. Hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail in isolated pockets over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and interior Karnataka today, and over the coastal areas of Gujarat after two days.
