A Cyclonic Circulation lies over Marathwada & neighbourhood in lower tropospheric levels. Under the influence of these systems and confluence of moist winds from Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal in lower levels; Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds (30-60 kmph) are expected over Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Goa, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Interior Karnataka for the next 3-4 days. Gujarat is likely to experience similar conditions for the next two days, while Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand may witness these weather events starting tomorrow and continuing for the following two days. A North-south trough runs form above cyclonic circulation to north Tamil Nadu across interior Karnataka in the lower tropospheric levels. Light to moderate rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Coastal and South Interior Karnataka after two days, while Kerala and Mahe are expected to experience similar condition after three days, continuing for 2-3 days. A gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C is expected over East India until tomorrow, with no significant change until Friday. In Northwest India, temperatures may increase by 2-4°C during the same period, remaining stable thereafter. Central India and the southern Peninsular region are likely to experience steady temperatures until tomorrow, followed by a drop of 2-4°C. Similarly, Maharashtra is expected to maintain stable temperatures today, with a subsequent decline of 2-4°C. Heatwave conditions are very likely to persist in isolated pockets of Saurashtra & Kutch today. Hot and humid weather is expected in isolated areas of Assam today, while similar conditions may prevail in Tripura and Gujarat state over the next 3-4 days. A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region after two days.
