An upper air Cyclonic Circulation lies over Marathwada & adjoining Madhya Maharashtra in the lower tropospheric levels. An upper air trough in easterlies runs from South Interior Karnataka to southwest Madhya Pradesh in the lower tropospheric levels. An upper air cyclonic circulation is present over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh in the lower tropospheric levels. Along with the confluence of moist winds from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal in the lower levels, is influencing the current weather conditions. Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (40–50 kmph) is likely to continue over South Peninsular India till tomorrow, while similar conditions are expected over East and Northeast India today. Hailstorm is likely over Jharkhand today, while Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura may experience hailstorm tomorrow. An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over southeast Arabian Sea and a trough runs from this cyclonic circulation to south Kerala in lower tropospheric levels. Heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over the Andaman & Nicobar Islands today, over Kerala and South Interior Karnataka during the next two days, and over Tamil Nadu and Coastal Karnataka till tomorrow. In Tamilnadu and Kerala, drain out excess water from standing crop and vegetable fields. A Western Disturbance is currently affecting North Pakistan and adjoining areas, while a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to impact the Western Himalayan region from Tuesday. Light to moderate rain and snowfall is likely over Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and the upper reaches of Uttarakhand. Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 3-5°C likely over Northwest India during next 5 days. No significant change in maximum temperatures likely over Central India during next 1 days and gradual rise by 2-4°C during subsequent 5 days. Rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C likely over West India during subsequent 5 days. No significant change in maximum temperatures likely over south peninsular India during next 2 days and rise by 2-3°C during subsequent 4 days. No significant change in maximum temperatures likely over rest parts of the country during next 6 days. Heatwave conditions are very likely to persist in isolated to some pockets of Saurashtra & Kutch for the next four days. Heatwave may also develop in isolated pockets of West Rajasthan and Gujarat Region after two days, and in East Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana after three days. Hot and humid weather is expected over Gujarat state for the next 4–5 days, and over Goa from tomorrow for the following two days.
