The associated cyclonic circulation extends southwestward with height. The system is likely to move west-northwestward and intensify into a depression within the next 12 hours. It is expected to cross the south Odisha–north Andhra Pradesh coasts by tomorrow forenoon. In Northwest India, light to moderate rainfall is expected over Jammu & Kashmir until tomorrow. Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan will see rain over the next 3-4 days. Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi are likely to experience rainfall over the next three days. Uttar Pradesh will start seeing rain after two days, with conditions continuing for the following two days. In West India, moderate to heavy rain is expected in Konkan, Goa, and Maharashtra until tomorrow. Gujarat will start seeing similar conditions from tomorrow, with rain continuing for the next two days. Strong winds, reaching speeds of 40-50 km/h, are also expected in the region until August 20th. Light rainfall is likely to occur across the area over the next seven days. In East and Central India, light to moderate rain with heavy spells is expected over South Odisha and South Chhattisgarh for the next two days. Madhya Pradesh will experience similar conditions over the next 3-4 days. Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal are likely to see similar rainfall patterns starting after three days. In Northeast India, light to moderate rainfall will persist over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh for the next 7 days. Heavy rainfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh starting tomorrow and continuing for the next two days.
