Key Observations from the Report: Tur (Pigeon Pea): Production is projected to rise from 3.417 million tonnes in 2023-24 to 3.624 million tonnes in 2024-25. Chickpeas (Gram): A slight improvement is expected, with production increasing from 11.039 million tonnes to 11.114 million tonnes. Moong (Green Gram): A notable surge is anticipated, with production expected to jump from 3.103 million tonnes to 4.244 million tonnes. However, there are declines forecast for certain pulses: Urad (Black Gram): Production is projected to fall from 2.319 million tonnes to 2.242 million tonnes. Lentils (Masoor): A decrease in production is expected, from 1.791 million tonnes to 1.654 million tonnes.
