Coriander Market Update

Total coriander arrivals at Ramganj Mandi were approximately 6,000 bags, comprising around 5,000 bags of old crop and 1,000 bags of new crop. Overall arrivals remained almost similar to the previous trading session. The market opened with auctions of new coriander, where fresh arrivals increased to nearly 800–1,000 bags. Prices in the new crop segment opened weaker by ₹200–250 per quintal, particularly in wet and high-moisture produce, which declined by ₹100–150 per quintal. However, comparatively dry and low-moisture new lots traded at stable rates similar to the previous day. Old stock remained largely steady, showing minor fluctuations of ₹50–100 per quintal, while stained old coriander witnessed a mild decline of ₹50–75 per quintal. In terms of price range, Badami quality traded between ₹9,000 and ₹9,300 per quintal, Eagle variety between ₹9,350 and ₹9,750, Scooter between ₹9,800 and ₹10,100, and color-rich as well as cold quality varieties ranged from ₹10,100 to ₹11,100 per quintal. Good-quality, clean old stock saw steady demand, while average and lower-grade produce maintained stability despite mild pressure.
