The Severe Cyclonic Storm "KYARR" (Pronounced as Kyarr) over eastcentral Arabian Sea moved west-northwestwards with speed of 12 kmph during the past 06 hours, intensified into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm and lay centered over eastcentral Arabia Sea, about 270 km nearly to the west-southwest of Ratnagiri (Maharashtra), 360 km south-southwest of Mumbai (Maharashtra) and 1780 km east-southeast of Salalah (Oman). It is very likely to move west-northwards towards Oman coast during next 5 days. It is likely to further intensify into an Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm during next 24 hours.A trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over Odisha to central Assam across Gangetic West Bengal upto 2.1 km above mean sea level. Heavy Rainfall likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal and Kerala & Mahe.
Rice, Cotton, Sugarcane and Groundnut farmers of Tamil Nadu, Apply urea @ 37 kg/ha, DAP @ 100 kg/ha, potash @ 25 kg/ha, zinc sulphate @ 25 kg/ha and gypsum @ 500 kg/ha as basal for samba paddy crop.
