With a slight increase in the price of Pusa 1121 variety of paddy being procured by the purchasers at Alewa Grain Market, the prices of mustache have come down by fifty rupees per quintal. Basmati varieties of paddy crossed Rs. 3800 per quintal. After the increase in the prices of two varieties of paddy, the faces of the farmers who came to sell the crop in the grain market were noticed. The price of Pusa 1121, a paddy variety, reached Rs. 3,000 per quintal and reached Rs. 3000. The price of variety mustache down to Rs 2,450 per quintal as against Rs 2500 on previous day. Basmati variety of paddy has been purchased by the buyers up to Rs. 3814 per quintal.
