More than 67.24 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of paddy has so far arrived in Haryana Mandis as compared to over 65.78 LMT during the corresponding period last year.The total arrival of paddy, government agencies had so far procured over 62.14 LMT, whereas the remaining quantity of over 5.10 LMT was procured by the millers. More than 33.59 LMT of paddy has been purchased by the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department, 19.46 LMT by Hafed, over 9.02 LMT have been purchased by the Haryana Warehousing Corporation and 4,718 MT have been purchased by the Food Corporation of India.
