Scattered light to moderate rain with few heavy spells over West Bengal, Jharkhand Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

Well-marked low-pressure area is over south Bangladesh and adjoining parts of West Bengal. It will move in in westerly direction across West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar during next two days. The axis of monsoon trough is passing through Firozpur, Delhi, Bareilly, Hardoi, Nalanda, Bokaro, Kolkata central of low-pressure area then to northeast Bay of Bengal. Cyclonic circulation is over Punjab and adjoining parts of Pakistan. A trough is extending from this cyclonic circulation to South Gujarat across the western part of Rajasthan. An Offshore trough is extending from South Maharashtra coast to North Kerala coast. During the next 24 hours, scattered light to moderate rain with few heavy spells is possible over West Bengal, Jharkhand, parts of Bihar, parts of Punjab, Haryana, North East Rajasthan and north Madhya Pradesh. Light to moderate rain may occur over Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, part of Odisha, Konkan and Goa, southeast Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, parts of Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka, Gujarat region and isolated pockets of Telangana and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light rain is possible over Delhi, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Kerala, costal Andhra Pradesh rest northeast India.
