Light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are possible over North East India, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

Well-marked low-pressure area is over southeast Uttar Pradesh. Associated cyclonic circulation is extending up to 7.6 Kms above mean sea level. Monsoon trough is passing through Ganganagar, center of low-pressure area over South Haryana, Firozabad, center of low-pressure area over southeast Uttar Pradesh, Daltonganj, Digha and then towards Northwest Bengal. A low-pressure area is over south Haryana and adjoining area. Its associated cyclonic circulation is extending up to 5.8 Kms above mean sea level. During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain is possible over Western parts of Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells are possible over sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur. Scattered light to moderate rain with one or two intense spells may occur over parts of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and isolated pockets of Konkan and Goa. Light rain with one or two moderator spells may occur over J&K, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible over Gujarat, interior Karnataka and isolated pockets of Tamil Nadu.
