Light rain is possible over Northern & South India however dry and warm temperature will continue over Northwest & Central India

Axis of monsoon trough is now running close to the foothills of Himalayas. It is passing through Amritsar, Kurukshetra, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Muzaffarpur, Jalpaiguri and then towards Arunachal Pradesh. A cyclonic circulation is over Bihar and adjoining parts of East Uttar Pradesh. Another cyclonic circulation is over Southwest Rajasthan at about 3 km above mean sea level. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are possible over Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, parts of Northeast Madhya Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and over isolated pocket Kerala. Light to moderate rain with a few intense spells may occur over Tamil Nadu, South interior Karnataka, parts of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Light to moderate rain may occur over J&K, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, parts of Telangana, Konkan and Goa, Lakshadweep, and rest Northeast India. Light rain is possible over foothills of West Uttar Pradesh, interior Karnataka, and parts of South Gujarat. Dry and warm moderate westerly events will continue over Northwest and parts of Central India leading to rise in temperatures.
