Light to moderate rain over Central parts of Uttar Pradesh east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka, monsoon break in North India

The monsoon trough is passing through Amritsar, Dehradun, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Patna then eastward to Arunachal Pradesh. The cyclonic circulation over Bihar and adjoining Uttar Pradesh is extending up to 4.5 above mean sea level. A north south trough is extending from cyclonic circulation over Bihar to south coast of Andhra Pradesh across Jharkhand and interior Odisha. A cyclonic circulation is persisting over Southwest Rajasthan between 3.1 and 4.5 Kms. A cyclonic circulation is seen over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining parts of coastal Tamil Nadu in between 5.4 and 7.6 Kms. During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain with isolated very heavy spells may occur over Assam and Meghalaya. Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells are possible over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Sikkim, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate rain with few intense spells are possible over J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, part of Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Konkan and Goa. Light to moderate rain Main Agar over Central parts of Uttar Pradesh east Madhya Pradesh parts of south interior Karnataka isolated pockets of Vidarbha and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible over parts of Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, and North interior Karnataka.
