Scattered light to moderate rain may occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, rest of North India and South India

The low-pressure area over Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh has weakened. A cyclonic circulation is persisting over same area and it is expected to move in West Northwest direction towards Northern parts of Madhya Pradesh. A trough is extending from Vidarbha to coastal areas of Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Rayalaseema. Monsoon trough is passing through Ganganagar, Alwar, Gwalior, Sidhi, Jamshedpur, Digha and then East southeastwards to Northeast Bay of Bengal. The cyclonic circulation is over central part of Pakistan. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells are possible over Gangetic West Bengal, sub–Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, part of Nagaland, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, parts of Odisha, isolated pockets of Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Konkan and Goa Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Scattered light to moderate rain may occur over Jharkhand, remaining parts of Telangana, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat region, southeast and East Rajasthan, parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, parts of Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Saurashtra and Kutch.
