Monsoon trough is passing through Firozpur, Karnal, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, and then east northeastwards to foothills of Arunachal Pradesh. A cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan. Another cyclonic circulation is over Southwest Bay of Bengal off Tamil Nadu coast at around 3.2 kms above mean sea levels. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are possible over Sikkim, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Nagaland, parts of Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Uttarakhand, and isolated pockets of Tamil Nadu. Scattered light to moderate rain may occur over rest northeast India, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, parts of Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible over West Madhya Pradesh, parts of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
