Monsoon trough is passing through Surat, Indore, Raipur, Gopalpur and then Southeastwards to Central Bay of Bengal.

The cyclonic circulation over Gujarat is persisting. It is expected to move in in Northwest direction during next 24 hours and will become less marked. A trough is extending from south Gujarat to coastal Andhra Pradesh between 3.5 and 5.8 km above mean sea level. Another trough is extending from chronic circulation over Gujarat to northwest Uttar Pradesh across east Rajasthan.

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are possible over Gujarat, isolated for pockets of southwest Rajasthan, foothills of Uttar Pradesh, isolated pockets of Sikkim, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and isolated pockets of east Madhya Pradesh. Scattered light to moderate rain may occur over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, rest Rajasthan, Bihar, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Rayalaseema, parts of Tamil Nadu and rest Northeast India. Light rain is possible over in Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Delhi, and Haryana.
