Scattered light to moderate rain is possible over West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, parts of Odisha, parts of Chhattisgarh, parts of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra

A low-pressure area is over Bihar. It will move in northeast direction and gradually will become weak. Another cyclone circulation is over Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is extending up to 5.8 Km above mean Sea level.

Severe cyclone Shaheen is over Gulf of Oman and adjoining Northeast Arabian Sea. It is expected to get weaken gradually and may cross Oman coast around early hours of October 4 as a cyclonic Storm. A trough is extending from cyclonic circulation over southwest Bay of Bengal to south Madhya Maharashtra across Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka.

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are possible over sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, parts of Nagaland, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Kerala and at isolated pockets of interior Tamil Nadu.

Scattered light to moderate rain is possible over Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, parts of Odisha, parts of Chhattisgarh, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible over southeast Rajasthan, South Gujarat and at isolated pocket of Telangana, uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
