Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells may occur over coastal Karnataka, South interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and parts of Kerala

A cyclonic circulation is seen over Lakshadweep area. Another cyclonic circulation is over south-central Bay of Bengal. A trough is extending from cyclonic circulation over South Central Bay of Bengal to Northwest Bay of Bengal. An anticyclone is over Western parts of Rajasthan. North easterly winds are blowing across Bay of Bengal and over South Peninsular India. Northeast monsoon is expected to set in any time soon.

During the next 24 hours, rain and snowfall activities over Western Himalayas will stop now. Weather of Northwest and central India will also go dry. Minimum temperatures drop further over Northwest and parts of Central India.

Isolated light to very light rain may occur over parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Eastern parts of Bihar.
