Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells are possible over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and south Interior Karnataka, West Bengal and North East India
A cyclonic circulation is over East Central Bay of Bengal. A trough is extending from the cyclonic circulation to Tamil Nadu. A low-pressure area is expected to develop over East Central Bay of Bengal in next 48 hours. Anticyclone is over western part of Rajasthan. Dry and cold winds are blowing across the northwest and Central India.
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells are possible over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and south Interior Karnataka.
Scattered light to moderate rain may occur over coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of Lakshadweep.
Isolated light rain is possible over Sikkim, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and north east India. Mist and haze with shallow Fog at isolated places is possible over Indo Gangetic plains.
