The low pressure area is presently over Sri Lanka off Tamil Nadu coast and is expected to move in a westward direction in the next 3-4 days. A feeble Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayas around November 1.
During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains with isolated very heavy spells are possible over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry along with Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala.
Good showers are expected over Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka. Light to moderate rain may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
Minimum temperatures are expected to drop over parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal.
