Light rain with one or two moderator spells may occur over coastal Odisha, South Telangana, Lakshadweep, and coastal Karnataka

The depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal is moving in West Northwest direction with a speed of 21 km per hour. Another low-pressure area is expected to develop over South Andaman Sea around November 13. It will also move in West Northwest direction towards the Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in subsequent 48 hours.

During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain with isolated very heavy spells may occur over north coastal Tamil Nadu and adjoining parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over interior Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, South interior Karnataka, parts of Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Light rain with one or two moderator spells may occur over coastal Odisha, South Telangana, Lakshadweep, and coastal Karnataka. Moderate to strong winds are expected over Andhra and Tamil Nadu coast during next 48 hours. Wind speed may be 45 to 55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph. Sea conditions may also remain a rough to very rough.
