Isolated light rain may occur over north coast of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka

The cyclonic circulation is now over Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is extending up to 4.2 km above mean sea level. Under its influence a low-pressure area is expected to form over Southwest Bay of Bengal by today evening. It is likely to move in west Northwest direction to Tamil Nadu coast.

A trough is extending from the cyclonic circulation over Southwest Bengal to North Tamil Nadu. Another cyclone in circulation is over North of Pakistan and adjoining area.

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are possible over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, part of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Scattered light to moderate rain may occur over remaining parts of Tamil Nadu, South coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, south interior Karnataka, coastal Karnataka and Rayalaseema. Isolated light rain may occur over north coast of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Arunachal Pradesh.
