Light to moderate rain may occur over Rajasthan, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and western part of Uttar Pradesh
Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and adjoining parts of Afghanistan. A cyclonic circulation is persisting over southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast. Another cyclonic circulation is over Southwest Rajasthan.
A series of Western disturbances will approach Western Himalayas during first 10 days of January. During the next 24 hours, light rain with one or two moderate spells of rain and snow is possible over Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and parts of Himachal Pradesh and at isolated pockets of Uttarakhand.
Light to moderate rain may also occur over Rajasthan, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and western part of Uttar Pradesh. Light rain is possible over coastal areas of Tamil Nadu. Minimum temperatures of a Northwest India may increase by 2 to 3 degrees.
