Southwest Monsoon has advanced into South Andaman Sea and adjoining areas. The cyclonic circulation is over south interior Karnataka and adjoining area. It is extending up to 5.8 Km above mean Sea level tilting south-westwards with height. Circulation is over central Pakistan and adjoining parts of Punjab. A trough is extending from this cyclonic circulation to foothills of East Uttar Pradesh. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are expected to occur over Sikkim, Northeast India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, parts of Kerala and South Karnataka. Scattered light to moderate rain over Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka, parts of Bihar, Rayalaseema and Chhattisgarh.
