Rain activities will reduce over Western Himalayas, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh

A Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and adjoining areas of Jammu and Kashmir. It is moving in an easterly direction. An induced Cyclonic Circulation now lies over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas. A north south trough is running from the cyclonic circulation over Northwest Rajasthan to Northeast Arabian Sea. Another tough is running from the cyclonic circulation over Northwest Rajasthan to North Bangladesh across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and sub-Himalayan West Bengal. During the next 24 hours, there will be a gradual increase in day and night temperatures over Northwest and Central India. Moderate to strong winds are possible over Northeast Arabian Sea, northern parts of Gujarat, southwest and central parts of Bay of Bengal as well as over Andaman Sea. Wind speed in these areas may be between 40 to 50 Kmph. Scattered light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells may occur over Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and isolated pockets of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Light to moderate rain may occur over South Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, south Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and light rain over Telangana, Konkan and Goa and isolated pockets of East Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on May 25th.
