Steady Sentiments in Maize market
Due to reduced arrival of maize in Bihar, there has also been a rise in the prices of maize by Rs 30/40 per quintal in two days. At present, the trade of Rs 2150/2200 per quintal is being done in the warehouse reach. On the other hand, the pressure of newly harvested crop has arrived in the mandis of Uttar Pradesh, due to which the trade of these areas in Haryana-Punjab reach is being heard at Rs 2200. In Delhi Grain Market too, the trade of unloaded goods from the warehouse has remained at Rs.2140/2150, and there is no scope for a quick boost. Presently the exporters are not getting the support and due to high prices in the domestic mandis, the stock of purchased goods is stuck in the market . Under these circumstances, the market may stay at steady level for few days.
