During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over western parts of Rajasthan, Kutch, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. A well-marked low-pressure area over central parts of Rajasthan now lies over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas. It is expected to move in a west-northwest direction and gradually weaken into a low-pressure area. The Monsoon trough is passing through the well-marked low over Rajasthan, Jaipur, Gwalior, Varanasi, Gaya, Malda and then eastwards towards Manipur, passing through Bangladesh and South Assam and an offshore trough is extending from South Gujarat to Maharashtra Coast.
