A trough is extending from the Cyclonic Circulation Punjab and adjoining area to Northwest Bay of Bengal across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few intense spells are possible over Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Northeast India, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Tamil Nadu rayalaseema and over South interior Karnataka. Rain is possible over east Uttar Pradesh, Northeast India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Marathwada and Kerala.
Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation lies over west-central Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood areas. The line of withdrawal of the southwest monsoon passes through Khajuwala, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Naliya, with conditions becoming favourable for further withdrawal from some more parts of northwest India and some parts of adjoining central India during the next 2-3 days. Light rain is possible at one or two places over Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
