he line of withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon passes through Khajuwala, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Naliya, with conditions becoming favourable for further withdrawal from some more parts of northwest India and some parts of adjoining central India during the next 2-3 days. Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation lies over the northwest and adjoining the west-central Bay of Bengal. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Vidarbha, Marathwada and North Telangana. An anticyclone is over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas. With the establishment of an anticyclone over Rajasthan, conditions are now becoming favourable for the withdrawal of the Southwest monsoon from some more parts of Northwest India and adjoining parts of Central India during the next 24 to 48 hours.
