Moderate to heavy rain to lash over Arunachal Pradesh and thunderstorms are likely over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa and Karnataka

The withdrawal line of the Southwest Monsoon continues to pass through Uttarkashi, Nazibabad, Agra, Gwalior, Ratlam and Bharuch, with conditions becoming favourable for withdrawal from some more parts of northwest and central India during the next two days. It is likely to further withdraw from remaining parts of Northwest India, Gujarat, some parts of Maharashtra, some more parts of Central India and some parts of East India during the subsequent two days. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells is possible over Odisha, South Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Light to moderate rain is possible over Assam, Lakshadweep, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan and Goa and the rest of Chhattisgarh. Mainly dry weather is very likely to prevail over most parts of Northwest India during the next five days and light rain is possible over Sikkim and Vidarbha.
