A trough is extending from the cyclonic circulation over the South-eastern Arabian Sea and Kerala coast to the south-west Bay of Bengal across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Light rain with one or two moderate spells may occur over Manipur, Mizoram, Jharkhand and Odisha. During the next 24 hours, scattered light to moderate rain with few heavy spells is possible over Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A cyclonic circulation is expected to develop over the North Andaman Sea and the adjoining area. It will move in West Northwest direction towards the southwest Bay of Bengal and may induce a low-pressure area around October 20.
