Western disturbances bring significant snow in high-altitude mountains and thunderstorms in lower mountains and the north western plains of northern India until late Thursday night. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells is possible over Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Interior Karnataka. Fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorms is very likely over Tamil Nadu, Karaikal, Puducherry, Mahe and Kerala between Thursday to Saturday and South Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep on Thursday.
