As the southwest monsoon has completely withdrawn from India, dry conditions will prevail in most of northwest and central India. However, some isolated to scattered rainfall may occur over Arunachal Pradesh and the adjoining areas of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura on Wednesday and Thursday due to a remnant of the cyclonic storm Sitrang. Air quality will remain very poor in northern India and poor in central, western, eastern, and southern India.
