A cyclonic circulation lies over Tamil Nadu and its neighbourhood, with an associated trough extending from this system to North Interior Karnataka in lower and middle tropospheric levels. Under their influence, fairly widespread or widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls, thunderstorms, and lightning is likely to continue over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe until November 6. Isolated very heavy rainfall is also very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal on November 4 and 5. During the next 24 hours, moderate rain with few heavy spells is possible over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Coastal Tamil Nadu. Light to moderate rain may occur over Interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema.
