A cyclonic circulation lies over Tamil Nadu and its neighbourhood, with an associated trough extending from this system to North Interior Karnataka in lower and middle tropospheric levels. Under their influence, fairly widespread or widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls, thunderstorms, and lightning is likely to continue over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe until November 6. Meanwhile, under the influence of a fresh Western Disturbance, scattered to fairly widespread light or moderate rainfall/snowfall is likely over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh from November 4-6. Isolated light to moderate rainfall or snowfall is possible over Uttarakhand, and isolated rainfall over Punjab on November 5 and 6. Air quality index over Delhi and NCR may remain in very poor to severe category.
