Isolated light rain is possible over Rayalaseema and parts of South interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
A Depression is located off Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu coasts and is moving North-westwards. As it approaches, some isolated heavy falls are possible through Tuesday. After Wednesday, the rain will gradually taper off as the system penetrates inland, but isolated rain may remain over the Southern Peninsula. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over south coast of Andhra Pradesh and north coast of Tamil Nadu. Light rain with one or two moderate spells are possible over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Night temperature may remain stable over Northwest and Central India during next 24 hours and will start falling thereafter. Other regions will see dry conditions during this forecast period except for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, where another round of rain is likely to start in the middle of the week due to the next Cyclonic Circulation. As for the mercury levels, the maximum temperatures will be cooler than average across Andhra Pradesh on Monday due to rain. The warmer trend will be back to the Southern Peninsula in the back half of the week.
