Heatwave to severe heatwave conditions may affect isolated pockets over Bihar and Gangetic West Bengal

Light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning and gusty winds may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during the next two days. Fasal Salah advises farmers to not apply irrigation and spray on the crop. Keep the harvested crop in safe place and do not cut matured crops due to the upcoming weather conditions. Light to moderate isolated rains with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during the next five days. Farmers having good irrigation facility are advised to sow the summer Maize (for green cobs, baby corn, sweet corn) and groundnut (raw).

Light isolated rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning is also on the cards over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha from April 21-23. As there is increase in temperature, Fasal Salah advises farmers for regular irrigation to vegetables crops and keep the cattles in shady area and provide them plenty of water.
