Hailstorm activity may occur over Uttarakhand from April 28 to May 2, and Punjab and Haryana on April 29-30. Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Jammu Division, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on May 1. Duststorm may sweep Rajasthan from April 28-30. Fasal Salah advices famers store the harvested produce at safe place or cover it with polythene sheet to avoid shattering losses. Scattered widespread rainfall and hailstorms (40-50 kmph) may lash parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during the next five days. Hailstorm is also very likely at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha on April 28-29, and Chhattisgarh on April 30. Farmers are advised that in view of the possibility of moderate cloudiness and light rain forecasted in coming days and do not irrigate their fields and keep oilseed and pulse crop at safe place. Hailstorm and heavy rainfall is also very likely at isolated places over Odisha on April 28 and 30. Farmers are advised to shift the harvested agriculture produce to a safe place.
