Farmers are advised to keep the harvested produce at safer places, postpone harvesting of onion and cover already harvested onion with plastic sheet during rainy period and avoid spraying of pesticides in summer crops, vegetables and orchards, provide mechanical support to orchards and staking in vegetables, keep farm animals indoors during this period.
